William J. Kluge, Jr., PE

Senior Forensic Engineer

Mr. Kluge has been employed in the field of accident reconstruction and forensic engineering since 1986 and has been a Registered Professional Engineer since 1995. Mr. Kluge has worked nationwide at highly regarded Forensic Engineering companies such as Research Engineers, Inc. of North Carolina and Vollmer-Gray Engineering of California. Mr. Kluge received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida in 1984.

His background in accident reconstruction includes automobiles, heavy trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrian accidents. Mr. Kluge uses state of the art computer techniques and is highly skilled in photographic documentation of physical evidence and advanced investigative techniques.

In addition to his engineering skills, Mr. Kluge has ASE Mechanics certifications in Auto Body, Medium/Heavy Truck, and Automobiles. This includes expertise in hydraulic and air brake systems. He has been trained and has conducted hundreds of fire investigations of vehicles, components and structures. Mr. Kluge has additional training in Accident Data Recorder data recovery (black box), Engine Control Module data recovery (such as that used in heavy trucks) and Tachograph analysis. He has extensive experience with failure analysis and defect investigation. As a result of Mr. Kluge's training and experience, he has testified in hundreds of trials and depositions.
